Space Hippo / Haley McGee: Award-winning Canadian Fringe Theatre in Kawasaki (17-19 Feb)

A chance to see two back-to-back Canadian fringe theatre shows at the World Peace Theatre in Kawasaki from 17 to 19 February: Haley McGee's "I'm Doing This For You", a story-telling / live art / improvisation show about a woman travelling around the world to give a birthday gift; and "Space Hippo", a satirical shadow puppet sci-fi animation (!) featuring "an ordinary Hippopotamus who is sent into space by politicians in a misguided attempt to save the world from an impending ecological disaster".
